School’s Back. The Laundry Pile Doesn’t Have to Be.

School’s Back. The Laundry Pile Doesn’t Have to Be.

The first few weeks of a new school term are a lot. New timetables, after-school clubs, a uniform that somehow needs washing every night, and bedding that hasn’t been changed since the summer holiday. For families living in Chengdu’s High-tech Zone or around Jinjiang and Wuhou, laundry is often the first thing that slips.

It doesn’t have to be your job. We pick up from your home, wash or dry clean everything, and bring it back folded and ready to put away.

Easy Life laundry bags with school uniforms and bedding for a Chengdu family
Uniforms, bedding and everyday clothes, ready to go back to a Chengdu family.

What families usually send us

  • School uniforms. Polos, trousers, skirts and PE kits, washed and folded. Blazers are dry cleaned and pressed.
  • Everyday clothes. The fastest way to clear the basket is our wash, dry and fold service, priced by the kilo.
  • Bedding. Duvets, pillows and kids’ blankets are too bulky for most apartment machines. See bedding cleaning.
  • Shoes. School shoes and trainers get a proper clean, not just a wipe.

Chengdu food, Chengdu stains

Hotpot and chili oil are part of life here, and so are the orange spots they leave on white shirts. Stain treatment is included in every per-item price. Point the stain out when you book, and the sooner we get it, the better the result.

Setting up a weekly routine

Most families find a fixed weekly pickup easiest. Pick a day, leave the bag with your building’s guard or at the door, and normal clothes come back the next day.

Pickup and delivery costs from ¥68 depending on distance, the minimum order is ¥150, and shirts are ¥30 each. Wash and fold starts at ¥98 for the first 3 kg, which is about a week of kids’ clothes.

  1. Book online or scan our WeChat QR and tell us your address and preferred pickup day.
  2. Put each child’s items in a separate bag if you want them sorted. We’ll keep them apart.
  3. We confirm the count and price before cleaning.
  4. Everything comes back folded, uniforms pressed.

A tip for the start of term

Label new uniforms with a name or initials before the first wash. It helps at school and it helps us return everything to the right child.
