Xi’an tends to fall in the middle of a China trip. Beijing before, Chengdu or Shanghai after, and by now half the suitcase is worn clothes. Meanwhile there’s a lot to fit in: the Terracotta Warriors out in Lintong, a bike ride on the city wall, dumplings and roujiamo in the Muslim Quarter, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda at dusk.
Hand the laundry to us on day one and you leave with a clean suitcase and room for the things you actually bought.
How it works for travellers
- Book online or scan our WeChat QR when you arrive. Send your hotel name and room number.
- Leave the bag at reception. You don’t need to be there.
- We wash, dry clean or press each item depending on the fabric.
- Your clothes come back to the hotel, pressed and folded, usually the next day. Same-day is possible for a 50% rush fee.
We collect across the city centre, including Beilin, Lianhu, Yanta and the High-tech Zone. If you’re staying out near the Terracotta Warriors, send us the address and we’ll check.

What’s worth sending
- Everything worn, by the kilo, with our wash, dry and fold service. It’s the cheapest way to reset a suitcase.
- Nicer pieces you want to wear again in the next city, dry cleaned and pressed.
- Dusty walking shoes. A day on the city wall or at the pits in Lintong does a number on white trainers. See shoe cleaning.
One small tip: keep one clean outfit back. If your train leaves before the return, that’s the one you’ll be glad you kept.
Pickup and delivery starts from ¥68 depending on distance, with a ¥150 minimum order, which one suitcase of clothes usually covers. Prices and areas are on our Xi’an dry cleaning page.

Normal clothes come back the next day, or the same day with a 50% rush fee. Book on your first day so there is no rush.
